Jaco Hybrid Training Center Introduces CROSSFIT F3™

Delray Beach, FL – JACO Hybrid Training Center, the world famous Delray Beach training center and home to the team of professional athletes known as the 'Blackzilians,' today announced that it is taking a giant step forward in fitness and is now offering CrossFit as part of its membership program. The CrossFit F3™ Training Program ties in the new F3 Nutrition sports supplement company name for the emphasis of the need for proper nutrition as part of every athletes complete fitness regimen to reach their goals.

"JACO Hybrid Training Center's CrossFit program not only benefits high level athletes like Rashad Evans and Alistair Overeem in their MMA training, but everyone who is looking for an exciting alternative to their existing workouts. With CrossFit, there is no standard routine, every day you have a different series of exercises and a new challenge.

CrossFit, founded in 2000 by Greg Glassman, is a unique strength and conditioning program that involves "constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement." The goal of CrossFit is to create a broad, general, and inclusive fitness that would best prepare you for any physical encounter – the unknown and the unknowable.


CrossFit is designed to train all 10 dimensions of fitness without favoring one at the expense of another. This leads to improvements across all modal domains - cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.


In CrossFit, you engage in the WOD, or better known to those in the CrossFit world as the "Workout of the Day." A WOD is typically short—20 minutes or less—and intense. The WOD will be either task-oriented (completing a specified number of tasks/exercises), or time-oriented (as many rounds/reps as possible in a specified period of time). The WOD will include movements related to metabolic conditioning, gymnastics (bodyweight exercises), weightlifting (powerlifting, Olympic lifts), or a combination of the above. These elements are mixed in numerous combinations to form prescribed WODs. Performance on each WOD is scored and recorded to encourage competition and track individual improvements.

Training in CrossFit is beneficial for all athletes, fitness enthusiasts and even kids, and JACO Hybrid Training Center will soon offer a CrossFit for Kids program at the Delray Beach location.
